Shorenstein APARC policy experts provide perspective on recent North Korea events
Shorenstein APARC, FSI Stanford in the newsIn November, news came of an alleged North Korean nuclear enrichment plant at the Yongbyon nuclear facility, followed shortly by news of North Korea's attack on the South Korean island of Yeonpyeong in the Yellow Sea. China now comes under scrutiny for "enabling" these events. Daniel Sneider, Shorenstein APARC's associate director of research, and Michael Armacost, the Shorenstein Distinguished Fellow, provide perspective on the Yeonpyeong Island attack and on recent developments, including the U.S. government response, since the announcement of these events.
