Vivian Beebe joined Shorenstein APARC as an administrative associate in September 2005. Previously, she spent six years living and working in Japan. Most recently, she worked at a small city hall in Nagano Prefecture, and in Himeji as an English teacher. She graduated from Whitman College in Washington with a BA in Asian Studies. She speaks fluent Japanese.
